  • Use the space calculator to work out approximately how much space that you will need - this will help avoid renting too much space and will save you money.
  • Come in and visit the facility so you have a visual idea of the storage space and reserve the unit that you prefer.
  • Organise your packaging needs. Boxes, furniture covers and wrap are available in our office. You will need to acquire a lock to secure the unit of your choice.
  • Prepare to move out. Cancel or redirect your power, phone, internet, mail and gas.
  • Does your insurance cover items in self-storage? If not, ask the Mammoth Self Store staff what insurance is available to you.
  • Book your removalist or organise to have the use of our FREE trailer.
  • Come in and finalise your agreement and arrange a date to move in - make sure you to align your move-in date with the removalist truck or trailer booked.
  • Move in on the allocated date.

Are there any other costs involved with storing?
Reserve a Unit: You can reserve a unit at a cost of $50.00 (your security deposit)
Security Deposit: Bond of $50.00 per unit
Late Payment: Late Payment charge is applicable. Fee of $11.00p/w

How can I pay for my monthly charges?
Credit Card: Visa/Mastercard automatic debit available or come in or call our office
Direct Deposit: Bank account details are supplied with every invoice for direct deposits
