For Moving House
- Use the space calculator to work out approximately how much space that you will need - this will help avoid renting too much space and will save you money.
- Come in and visit the facility so you have a visual idea of the storage space and reserve the unit that you prefer.
- Organise your packaging needs. Boxes, furniture covers and wrap are available in our office. You will need to acquire a lock to secure the unit of your choice.
- Prepare to move out. Cancel or redirect your power, phone, internet, mail and gas.
- Does your insurance cover items in self-storage? If not, ask the Mammoth Self Store staff what insurance is available to you.
- Book your removalist or organise to have the use of our FREE trailer.
- Come in and finalise your agreement and arrange a date to move in - make sure you to align your move-in date with the removalist truck or trailer booked.
- Move in on the allocated date.
